Summer Sketching

We had another day of summer in Portland last weekend. I've lost track of whether that was our 2nd or 3rd day of warm temperatures. Still, we know not to complain, because unlike most of the country, we haven't suffered in a heatwave. Anyway, it was a lovely day and my husband and I spent it out at McMenamin's Edgefield, east of Portland.

Good job on these Vicky, You are so accurate almost like you had a straight edge!

Thanks, Carrie. No straight edge was used, but I did pencil in a lot of it first. The perspective was pretty challenging for me so I left out a lot of lines that weren't horizontals and verticals. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Vicky, these are outstanding. Great perspective, shading, design on page, watercoloring. Frame them. I like the shells, too.
