Plein Air

Last week, in a friend's backyard, we had a model for our sketching group to draw or paint.

Every time I drew the model, I unintentionally made her look different. Not her fault at all, since she was a terrific model.

It's really a pleasure to sketch outside on a lovely day with friends.

What fun! And all the versions of your model do look like the same person--well done!

Thank you, Janene.

These look great and I love the painting of the back of Heather's house. When did you have time to do that. You are one speedy sketcher.

Thanks, Katharine. I sketched the house while you were busily drawing the model. I added the paint at home and I may have mixed up the trees and the sky:)
