Day 14: An Unexpected Opportunity

Today, I had something else in mind to draw, but after a trip to the grocery store, where some gorgeous tangerines were on sale, how could I resist? It must have been the first day they were out, because they still had so many leaves.  I'm sure several of us pick out our fruits and vegetables by how drawable, or paintable they look. I know I'm not alone in that.

Vicky, you are not alone in choosing fruit with leaves!
Ron is very patient as I always choose fruit and veggies
According to their paintability!
We both chose round orange fruit to paint today!
These are lovely with a distinct Asian feel.

Gorgeous. It is that time of year...citrus fruit appearing from far away places. For a minute I thought they were persimmons which are in stores now. They are one of my favortie more exotic fruit. Although they grow in Portland too!
